I own Powerpoint for Mac 2011 and have a problem with Powerpoint's automatic compression of images. Whatever the resolution of the image I insert into a slide, the program automatically makes it very pixelated and blurry. Even if I make the image smaller within Powerpoint, it retains a blurry and pixelated 'quality'. I guess Powerpoint does some automatic compression to the image. My question is simple: How to turn it off? What I want is for the image I insert, to retain its original quality whatever the size.
I can always scale it down later manually. At the moment my Powerpoint is useless, since it makes any presentation simply look very ugly. I have not yet seen anyone providing a solution to it.
