Hi Licqorice, Many thanks for this. I've actually kept my Pop 3 settings on one of my Windows Live Mail PC's just so that I can have at least one PC that works the way I've always been used to. When I spoke to BT yesterday (the Mail department) they seemed to think my error message (server timing out message) was a temporary problems, whereas the password issue (I believe) is completely separate and possibly down to the settings I had; ever since I deleted them in the Mac keychain and set them up again, combined with changing my smtp to mail.btinternet.com things seem to be working fine. After we have assigned the certificate to the Exchange servers, the Outlook 2011 on MAC computers keeps asking for password. Windows Outlook clients are fine. We have confirmed the Exchange URL's with the certificate SAN names. Only MAC Outlook 2011 seems to have the issue. Kindly assist. Create a new Outlook Profile • Exit Outlook. • Go to the Control Panel and search for 'Mail ' - This should return: 'Mail (Microsoft Outlook 2013/2016) (32/64 bit)' - Click this and a new window will open called Mail Setup. • In the Mail Setup - Outlook dialog box, click the Show Profiles button. • On the General tab, click Add.
