Honestly, I'd just stick with the mouse keys til you get used to it. You'll be far better off in the long run. I've never used these programs in particular but most work by simply mapping the buttons on your controller to keyboard and mouse functions.

WASD would become up, left, down, right on the left analogue stick for example. You'll just have to look at the default CoD4 controls and map them to you controller in whatever software you decide to use. You can look into using an autohotkey script that slows down ads speed.

I made one a while back, I still use it. Pinnacle uses their crappy version of xpadder which doesn't properly implement triggers, or at least when I tried it, it would stop ads when I fired and vice versa. Because one trigger is set to - values and the other + values so both pressed makes it think neither are being pressed. I have my xpadder set that when I press the left trigger is activates the right mouse button and the middle mouse button. Then in the AHK script when middle mouse is pressed it lowers the mouse speed. AHK disables whatever button is used in the script, so thats why I have it set to middle mouse.
